St. Frank Textiles in Pacific Heights

This past weekend, I spent a couple of days in San Francisco....mainly for work but included some leisure ;-) It was my first time in Northern California so I was in total awe as you can imagine of the weather, people and architecture. On our last day there, we took time to visit the design district as well as an area in Pacific Heights where you can find interior designers and home accent boutiques. We stumbled upon the most charming boutique called St. Frank. Their storefront was full of color, pattern and texture with custom/vintage textiles crafted mainly by artisans abroad. St. Frank has a goal of preserving artisanal craft  and supporting economic empowerment for artisans. "The artisans who hand-make St. Frank’s textiles are members of boutique workshops and larger artisan collaboratives located in low- and middle-income countries worldwide". I recommend if you're ever in that area to visit this boutique. Visit not only because it's beautiful but because of what they do to help others. You won't be disappointed!
